SoundMind presents a free concert on the Spencer Terrace of the Lunder Center at Stone Hill. The chamber music repertoire is inspired by the Clark’s exhibition Sensing Place: Reflecting on Stone Hill.

SoundMind is a flexible ensemble of five wind musicians, providing a home for music both new and familiar. Formed in 2016, SoundMind is, flutist Isabel Lepanto Gleicher, oboist Kemp Jernigan, clarinetist Eric Christian Umble, hornist Patrick Jankowski, and bassoonist David A.  Nagy. In a program of music spanning centuries, from Gesualdo to Andriessen, SoundMind will showcase the kaleidoscopic and genre-bending possibilities of wind instruments.

This concert is free and open to the public.
